Most of my professional career has been dedicated to the world of corporate events and the incentive travel sector, at stop, the parent company to Spain Collection. Euskadi is a unique destination, because despite being small, its cities exude class and very distinct style. Each of its defining characteristics are striking especially with regards gastronomy, but also its history, its language, its traditions and its way of understanding life and work.I lived in the Canaries for 7 years. I know the islands really well, and that this region of vastly different to the rest of Spain. There are no two extremes more polar opposite in this country than the Basque Country and the Canary Islands, not only in distance but also in cultural or historical aspects. In my opinion, Spain is probably the country where more ‘universes’ coexist than anywhere else in the world.
