The Consortium for Worker Education (CWE) is a private, non-profit agency that provides a wide array of workforce preparation, industry specific training and employment services to over 70.000 New York City workers annually, including union workers, new Americans and dislocated workers. CWE has restructured its health care training programs to meet the ever changing landscape of the health care industry. CWE facilitates a complete range of workforce customized training that leads health care professionals to new jobs or to transition between jobs at hospitals or medical facilities. As Program Manager I oversee training initiatives for allied health care, coordinate professional development skills training and customize program curriculum aligned with credentialing for on demand occupations. Additional, I provide labor-management relations and function as liaison with union training funds, community based organizations and health care facilities, manage life cycle of training including curriculum development, project planning, materials development and arranging for instruction by consultants. Collaborate with and manage a team of clinical/non-clinical consultants for various projects including classroom training and distance learning programs. Create program proposals, budgets, financial reports and contracts and ensure that exceptional training services are delivered to all stakeholders.

WHEDco’s Childcare Improvement Project (CIP) works to ensure that participant childcare providers are successful in completing a licensing/registration process, building critical business skills and establishing successful home-based childcare businesses. As Direcror I oversee WHEDco’s micro-enterprise business development efforts within the organization’s Home-based Childcare Program. I'm responsible for managing a team of trainers, technical assistance specialists and administrative staff. I maintain and build relationships with partners, including government agencies and key stakeholders and, and ensure program outcomes are achieved.
