Bridged the gap between the accessioners and management. Responsible for creating schedules, directing the accessioners to appropriate tasks, filling out nightly reports, recording inventory of supplies, training accessioners on new tasks. Ensured quality control of specimens by entering data from requisitions into LabCorp's specimen integrity system (SIS) and pouring off appropriate aliquots of body fluids for further testing in Columbus. Up to speed with LabCorp’s manual, upload, hospital, and cytology forms of accessioning. Imaged requisitions into LabCorp's network, prepared shipment, and other assorted tasks to help maintain a cleanly lab.
