- Developed an interactive GUI for DIANE (Domain Informatics ANalytics for Enterprises, a consumable big data informatics platform targeted for business users or non-analysts) ) framework using client side web development technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript with Dojo and IBM RAVE (Rapidly Adaptive Visualization Engine)), resulting in a user friendly , cross-domain compatible interface that renders a range of advanced visualizations - Deployed the framework as web application ( for internal IBM customer support team to use with its installation and configuration), mobile app, and IBM CloudOE environment (targeted for internal and external users) , Also performed testing of the end-to-end scenario, identified defects and fixed them. - Enhanced control layer of DIANE by identifying major performance defect, leading to decrease in query execution time by more than 50%. Framework has been tested by company’s internal clients and on various external POC data from US based hospital and has been proven state of the art of its kind.- Engaged in substantial research on Hadoop technologies by exploring the HBase for storing big data-sets and other Hadoop/ MapReduce work, leading to performance optimization in terms of getting final results in real-time.- Engaged in research to develop a text analytics framework for the collaboration of IBM Watson API & DIANE using OpenNLP toolkit and IBM Worklight and performed semantic analysis & name entity extraction, resulting into an application that accepts user queries less restrictive to be closer to natural language queries.- Established overall project structure for a personalized web tasking application which allows users to delegate and automate tasks to a web agent using IBM Worklight and Bluemix CloudOE ,also reused and integrated UI components used in the past projects along with rigorous testing and bug reporting , resulting in an elegant solution.
