• Providing Data Centre duties on daily basis including tape management/recall (Iron-Mountain), backups, enterprise printer support, cabling/racking servers, Data Centre alarm monitoring including UPS, Servers, Cooling. • Experienced in providing technical support for Hardware, Software, and Ticketing system, tape organization, backups, recall, Offsite storage,1st level Helpdesk Support, taking calls and logging tickets • Good experience in Asset management, pickup/delivery of hardware required by Helpdesk team (some heavy lifting: servers, stocking workstation Inventory) • Monitor Data Centre and Report on errors/alarms on UPS, servers, cooling devices, etc. Also, successfully operating the Data Center and delivering the SLA’s and KPI’s.• Build/setup server racks, racking and stacking of servers and switches, cabling including ethernet and fiber. Also have a decent communication, technical and problem-solving skills • Sober knowledge of Service Now, Data Centre monitoring tools, JIRA • Knowledge of IP Networking Protocols and knowledge of Internet network technologies (DNS, Firewall, SSH, HTTP) • Planning and maintaining the reliable operation of integrated facility infrastructure support systems including electrical, and mechanical systems, uninterrupted power supply (UPS), emergency power generators, hydro power, HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning), fire detection and suppression, electrical power monitoring system and building automation systems to fulfil mandated uptime commitment.
