The project involves development, enhancement and testing of Trade Surveillance Reporting, which is a system that comprises of many compliance and supervisory reports that are to be filed to comply with Industry regulations. The application provides reporting capabilities for all trades and orders executed in North American markets in accordance with the NASD, NYSE or SEC trade reporting requirements. The reports are built to monitor Fixed Income Trades, Equity Trades, Derivatives, Bonds, Wash Trades.Environment: Perl, Java, Sybase, Actimize, Autosys, Perforce, DB2, Netcool, Linux, UNIX, WindowsResponsibilities• Interacting with the traders, business users and gathering requirements.• Development of SQLs/Stored Procedures for extraction of data from different sources (Oracle and Sybase).• Extensively developed and supported Perl Batch Jobs - daily/nightly/hourly applications using Autosys.• Develop/Modify/Enhance Perl Packages• Development of frameworks and tools to support Trade Surveillance Reporting using Object Oriented Perl, Java• Requirement study and Impact analysis for the new requirement or change request on the existing programs initiated by client.• Development of surveillance report using SQL tuning concepts against Sybase database servers which deals with 125 millions of transactional orders on daily basis.• Worked on generation of Actimize Trade Surveillance Reports.• Worked on bug fixing and provided L2/L3 support production applications on as per need basis• Provide quick turnaround to the model failures due to database issue, infrastructure issue or any other issues.• Provide response to the business user concerns related to trading data before the early NY market hours.• Worked and managed a team being senior resource and imparted trainings for all the new joiners in the project.• Extensive use of Perforce as versioning system.

Athena health is a leading provider of provider’s revenue cycle management services in the US. This web based practice management solution includes medical practice management software, medical billing software, physician practice management and medical collection services. AthenaNet allows the provider to schedule appointments, create claims easily, and check eligibility of the patient. It also sends the claims to the insurance companies for payment and posts back the remittance sent back by the payroll to the AthenaNet system.Environment: Perl, Ajax, HTML, Oracle, UNIX, Linux, WindowsResponsibilities • Scoping report request from the account managers and client practices in terms of a internal level of effort (LOE) estimate and a external price and ECD estimate• Developing the Report using Oracle for querying and perl for any formatting requirements• Optimize queries which are identified as ones slowing down the systemCRS (Claim and Remittance Services) • Picking up the claim generated in the system by the end user and creating the electronic claim file in the desired format• Sending them electronically via data links to the respective payer. Claim Generation (Worked on claim generation in ANSI 837 format)• Developed UI for registering the patient, creating claims using Ajax and html along with Perl scripting for server side validations, database operations using CPAN module DBI.Linkages (Transfer of claim over to payor server sftp/http or vice versa)• Implemented Object Oriented approach of Perl to establish a secure link using FTP, SFTP, HTTPS connections via creating a wrapper over CPAN module NET::FTP.• Implemented wrapper functions for CPAN modules FILE, DIGEST::MD5, DBI to read and collect files and transfer them over the links established.Parsers (Worked on parser development for new payors)• Responsible in creating new parsers for new payers using Reg-Ex in and File functions in Perl.• Refractor the already implemented parsers.
