At SBES, Inc we welcome a new CEO, Sarah Chatfield, as of January 1, 2023. Dr. Biggs is maintaining her role as co-founder and President of the Board of Directors. We are excited for the wealth of experience and passion Sarah is bringing to her new role within the company!

We are no longer a sole proprietorship. We are now a C-Corp! We privately contract our services to school districts or those in need of VI services. Our Mission: As partners with educational agencies, SBES, Inc. provides exemplary school-based vision related services, founded on evidence-based practices, for students from birth to age 22. Our Vision:In partnership with school communities, SBES, Inc. sees a future where all children, especially those with visually impairments, are educated in accessible and inclusive settings.

Vista was a wonderful place to work. I worked as a Teacher of the Blind & Visually Impaired and Orientation & Mobility Specialist. They contracted my services to various school districts in the Bay Area and San Benito County. Vista Center has an onsite store, another office in Santa Cruz, and provides services to both children and adults who are blind or visually impaired. They also have an incredible youth program.
