Met veel plezier ben ik als gezelschaspsdierenarts werkzaam in deze kliniek. Naast het spreekuur, krijg ik de mogelijkheid om mij te ontplooien in de operatiekamer, wat ik onwijs leuk vind!

Naast mijn studie was ik werkzaam in het dierenziekenhuis van Evidensia. Ik hielp de paraveterinaire en dierenartsen tijdens de spoeduren in de opname. Als werkstudent kreeg ik de verantwoordelijkheid om de dieren te verzorgen en stabiel te houden die waren opgenomen. Daarnaast kon ik bij spoedoperaties assisteren indien dit nodig was.

Naast mijn studie was ik werkzaam als paraveterinair op de Zorg Plus Afdeling (ZPA) en in de Spoedkliniek van de Universiteit. Op de ZPA begeleidde ik studenten die met hun co-schappen bezig waren en die een week op de ZPA kwamen meehelpen. Ik was de eindverantwoordelijke die moest zorgen dat de dieren op de ZPA de juiste zorg en medicaties kregen toegediend. Ook op de spoedkliniek werkte ik als paraveterinair op de opname.

I started as a interested student that just wanted to get some experience in the Vet practice. This is why I volunteered to do an internship at Caressa Dierenziekenhuizen. After two or three months, one of the vets asked me if I would like to work here as a paraveterinairian, to also get to know the work of the paravets. I learned a lot, and I think it is really helpful to know the need of a paravet in the vet clinic.
