I am dedicated to connecting inner spaces and outer places. Helping develop and cultivate sustainable structures, including multi-stakeholders from civilian, administrative, and political spheres, is the core of my work. As a professor, I teach design-oriented participation and communication. As a landscape architect and CEO of the Institut for Participatory Design (IPG), I have over twenty-five years of experience in designing, leading, and facilitating collaborative urban and rural development processes. With the help of design-oriented planning methods, I invite people to connect body experience, emotions, cognitive skills, and creativity to learn more about narratives of the space and help suitable ideas to emerge.In my work, I have experienced that parks, places, and neighborhoods that arise through cocreative and generative processes become vital spots for sustainable development in the landscape of cities.
