- Investigate and audit financial transactions of investor-owned public utilities.
- Make written and oral recommendations to the Utilities Commission regarding appropriate accounting treatment and the establishment and compliance with local, state and federal statutes, Generally Accepted Accounting.
- Advise, counsel and instruct three direct reports.
- Ensure adherence to policies and standards by providing expert and technical counsel to internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure expenditures, taxes, accruals, deferrals, revenue requirements and rates are prudently incurred and properly accounted for.
