Responsible for the protection of Endemol Shine’s intellectual property on a global level which includes:• Managing Endemol Shine's trademark and domain name portfolio, registering trademarks and domain names and setting out a trademark and domain name policy. • Investigating and assessing IP infringements.• Enforcing IP infringements and creating litigation strategies.• Coordinating litigation and managing internal/external clients and outside counsel.• Drafting and negotiating license- and settlement agreements.• Liaising with and advising the business on several IP related matters.• Educating (new) colleagues on several topics related to the protection of intellectual property by giving presentations & webinars

Worked on a project where all agreements related to the productions had to be processed in a new rights database:• Interpreting different agreements related to the productions and process these in a rights database.• Create short summaries of the legal rights situation of several productions.

The Rechtswinkel Amsterdam is a volunteer foundation which assists local people from deprived social and economic backgrounds with their legal issues. My responsibilities included:• Telephone consultancy hours. Advising clients on legal issues. • Walk-in consultancy hours.
