I undertook work on an ad hoc basis to assist a partner with research relating to art law. Major projects include researching and writing an opinion related to a claim for copyright on an artwork; and extensive research related to an art forgery case.

As well as independently managing the library during my shifts, I contributed to a major restructuring project in one of the UK’s leading image libraries. Furthermore, my research work conducted on behalf of a major US gallery regarding the provenance of a Dutch Golden Age painting has resulted in significant discoveries.

I led regular public lunchtime talks to gallery patrons about Bernardo Daddi’s 14th-century polyptych based on research conducted using the gallery records and all the Courtauld libraries, combined with academic analysis.

I independently managed several private client accounts and maintained continuing client relations. Within the scope of my work, I managed each individual stage of the creation process and the risks involved. Marketing responsibilities included 'The 5th C' blog, Facebook page, and Instagram account, as well as creating new partnerships with existing brands and continuing relations within existing partnerships.

Independently handled high net worth private clients throughout individual sales as well as maintaining continuing client relations. Whilst working in a small team I was regularly given the responsibility of single-handedly running the office whilst my colleagues were on business trips. I was responsible for a sales portfolio in excess of £120,000 of ready-made jewellery pieces to retailers in Hatton Garden. Day to day tasks included gemmology, jewellery design, valuation, account management and some small business experience.
