I graduated from the Karel de Grote Hogeschool in Office Management - Languages and started my career as a Commercial Assistant at Aral, Belgium. Soon I made the transition to Vlamco, where I was the right-hand of the Director of Advertising, Marketing and Sales for five years. In 2003, I started working at VITO as a Management Assistant of the Verification Office Benchmarking Flanders and collaborated on the covenant between the government and industry with the aim to improve the energy efficiency of energy-intensive companies. Within Cleantech Flanders, I collaborate on various initiatives to increase the visibility of the Flemish cleantech industry both in Flanders and abroad. In June 2020 I joined the G-STIC team. With G-STIC (Global Sustainable Technology and Innovation Community), we aim at accelerating the transition to a wide-scale deployment of market-ready integrated technological solutions that can have a big impact on the achievement of the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals).
