Managing the network port migrations on the Digital Network Architecture Program (ACI Network). Responsible for Business engagement and obtaining approvals, responsible to manage the technical resources and reporting progress during these migrations

Network Project Deployments:Current Projects: ASR Deployment on the SA Core Network, Deployment of the F5 Load Balancing infrastructure to replace all ACE devices, Deployment of QOS (Quality of Service for Data Centres and Branch Network), Branch Switch Replacements, SB Telco, End of Life and End of Support Network and Firewall infrastructure upgrades, Deployment of Telco infrastructure for ICBC from Rosebank to Beijing, Pilot for the Department of Home Affairs (DHA) for the issuing of National ID Cards from Standard Bank sites, i.e. Nr 5 Simmonds- JSE Co-Location - Managed the deployment of the Network and Telco infrastructure for the JSE Co-Location Project- Firewall Upgrades – Managed the upgrades of the Firewalls for all the DMZ environments within Standard Bank- Managed the Implementation of the Aggregation Networks for the Johannesburg Data Centre (Campus Site) - JDC and River Club Data Centre - RDC environments- Africa Card Acquiring - Managed the Deployment of Infrastructure to support the Card Acquiring Project (Network International and MTN)- Managed the ROADM upgrades for all the MTN DWDM links- Various Master Card deployments, i.e. Satellite installation at River Club Data CentreData Centre Migration Programme. Some of the deliverables are:•Approved Migration Approach based on Standard Banks’ Services•Confirmed Implementation/Execution Plan for the migration•Resource Planning•Approved Test Cases for each Business Application•Identify and confirm all Dependencies and 3rd Party Links for all Services.•Responsible for the migration of infrastructure from the current SBSA data centres to the new data centre in SAMRAND•Successfully completed the 1st migration on 17 September 2010•Subsequent Migrations completed successfully including Internet Banking, Credit Systems, SAP Components, Vehicle and Asset Finance Infrastructure, etc.

Implemented a Anti Money Laundering Application for the Post Office working with Oracle as the Vendor responsible for the ApplicationImplemented a Treasury Management System for the Post Office working with an Irish Based Company as the Vendor responsible for the Application. Reported directly to the Chief Financial Officer of the Post Office.

Project managed the transition of Corporate Customers from other Service Providers to MTN (Number Portability). Corporate Customers including Sappi, Nestle, Lonmin (Mining), and Fraser Alexander) were some of the projects.

Implemented the following projects:•Vodacom Emagine Pilot Project (Campaign Management tool)•Vodacom Credit Card – Gold Loyalty •Data Warehouse migration•APP – Analytics Pilot Project (SPSS software tool) Projects:•New Emagine Enhancements and Development (NEED) facilitated the Design and Analysis work sessions (Various release planned)•Customer Analytics/Segmentation Project/Programme on the MSP for 2007 (NEED is one of the projects under this programme. The outcome of the APP would be utilised to drive and obtain requirements from other Vodacom Business Divisions (i.e. Credit and Risk, Corporate Solutions, Knowledge Based Services (Market Intelligence)
