Ich bin Textkünstlerin. Ich unterstütze Agenturen, Unternehmen und Einzelpersonen (auch als Text-Coach und beratend) bei ihrer Kommunikation. Ich schreibe für Printmedien, Websites, Blogs – am liebsten über Buchstaben, Schrift, Sprache und deren (inter-)kulturelle Implikationen – und ich vermittele anderen, wie das geht. In meiner Lehre setze ich den Schwerpunkt auf sprachliche Gestaltung und helfe dabei, eigenen Ausdruck, sprachliche Sicherheit und eine klare eigene Sprechhaltung zu gewinnen. Als Künstlerin experimentiere ich mit der Materialität von Sprache. Ab WiSe 2022/23: stufiengangsübergreifende Lehrveranstaltung „Text und Storytelling“ ab 5. Fachsemester/Master. Donnerstags 10–13 Uhr im Medienhaus am Kleistpark, geschlossene Gruppe(n), Anmeldung jeweils am Semesterbeginn: Fak Gestaltung, Studiengang Visuelle Kommunikation. Im Lehrauftrag von Prof. Barbara Kotte, zusammen mit Gesine Last, KM Gosia Warrink. WiSe 2020/21 und SoSe 2021 Lehraufträge „Text/Konzept“ (Corporate Wording, Brand Language, Kreativtext in der Gestaltungspraxis) in der Klasse Design für Wirtschaft und Werbung von Prof. Uwe Vock mit KM Gosia Warrink. Zuvor: Lehraufträge, Wahlpflichtfach und Werkstattseminare zu „Text und Bild“ (Gestaltungspraxis und fachtheoretische Grundlagen zu verbaler und visueller Gestaltung) im Studiengang Visuelle Kommunikation in der Fakultät Gestaltung.

Starting as their conference writer myself, I built up and headed the TYPO Berlin Editorial Team since 2011. Up to 2018, we had around 30 talented people at the conference and beyond. Constantly looking for young talents to join in, I did workshops with them each year in the forerun of TYPO Berlin. The Editorial Team accompanied me in reporting on TYPO News, the blog of TYPO Berlin International Design Conference, as well as creating other formats on social media, like a podcast and video interviews. Design writing – and not only writing – at it’s best.

From Oktober 2014 to April 2017 I served as a co-moderator at Creative Mornings Berlin, hosted by TYPO Talks / Monotype. I also was a proud host, moderator, facilitator, communicator, caretaker (whatever you call it) at TYPO Berlin, the biggest type and design conference in the world. For more than 20 years, it took place each year in May. I served as their moderator on the main stage at Haus der Kulturen der Welt, Berlin, from 2015 to 2017, and gave a talk myself in 2018 – which turned to be the last TYPO Berlin.
