When Sonja was twelve years old, she told her father it was her or the heroin. Although it was unknown at the time, it was at that moment her career in the helping profession began. Today, Sonja is a highly skilled clinician with 15-years of professional experience across the entire continuum of care in several of Canada’s premier mental health and addiction treatment facilities. As the Founder of True North Interventions, Sonja specializes in the development and facilitation of nation wide programs and services for anyone who has ever loved someone with an addiction.
