I have a passion for engaging people, particularly in environmental causes, and for creating partnerships. I am particularly motivated to use my skills for relationship building, supporting social good, and promoting sustainable, connected and healthy communities. I've learned that I am a ‘people person’ who gets immense satisfaction collaborating, supporting or mentoring others during my work day. I also realized that I want to do work that provides a service to my community/region/country (or beyond). I've gained a lot of valuable experience from my extensive volunteer work and now have a much better understanding of how nonprofits work, and the fundamental coordinating tasks that support that work (fundraising and development, community outreach, event planning, communications etc.).
