SonLight Power has installed more than 200 solar power systems in developing countries, including 90+ schools in Honduras. All systems are currently in working order. Included in the 200+ projects are 35+ larger projects where Allen is the chief system designer. These projects run entire medical clinics, orphanages and mission complexes with systems from 1-20KW, including deep well solar water pumping.Allen has participated in the design and/or install of most of the projects. He has also consulted on and designed other systems for missionaries and mission agencies in various parts of the world. Currently designing systems and planning mission trip installs in Haiti, Nigeria, Chad and HondurasBefore starting SonLight Power Allen took and helped plan mission trips with professors at Regent University where he earned a degree in Practical Theology with a concentration in missions.. Before Regent Allen helped raise money for the first ultrasound machine used in Cincinnati and participated in baby-saving activities on behalf of Operation Rescue.Specialties: solar power design, trouble shooting and installation in difficult circumstances; problem solving, travels well, seeing vision and articulating vision to others; making things work.
