I produce compelling videos for NASA-TV and NASA flagship social media channels with over 11 million followers on YouTube and 72 million followers on Twitter. I’ve created videos to celebrate historic milestones, promote high-profile missions, same-day recaps, and much more. I collaborate with varied internal and external stakeholders (including occasionally the White House) to surpass expectations. Among my team, I have spearheaded efforts to implement changes in processes and organization. I also support live events operating cameras, teleprompter, and floor directing. My dedication, flexibility, and positive attitude earned me a 2023 COMIT on the Spot Award. And my creative use of technical skills has earned me an Adobe Government Creativity Award and a Telly Award.

As a Video Producer for Brighton Collectibles, I worked on a wide variety of projects from mini-documentaries, motion graphics, social media campaigns, training videos, still photography, and more.

As a Video Content Coordinator, I shot approximately 80 videos a day. Most of the time I recorded video, but I also acted as on camera talent. I have also created a few special posts for the Zappos Blogs site and help design a full-page print ad that ran in a national advertising campaign.

During my time working in broadcast news, I produced hundreds of stories using professional ENG cameras, Avid Media Composer video editing software, and a bit of Adobe After Effects. For each story, I had to use skills in lighting, composition, video editing, microwave truck operation, and graphic design to make stories look clean and professional under tight deadlines. Sometimes I worked with a reporter, but not always. I did some writing and posted stories to the web. I was also the Internship Coordinator for my department.

At WCIA, I learned how to shoot and edit video on a deadline.
