SAROS gave me the responsibility and incredible opportunity to become completely immersed in many aspects of business and technology development. It took me around the world, allowed me to meet extraordinary friends and mentors, and taught me countless lessons in engineering, business, and life. With a full-time team of just three, no two days were ever the same. Any given Monday I could be found engineering system improvements, 30 feet below the ocean untangling broken instrument cable, reviewing patent claims or planning out a system layout and financial details with a resort owner in Central America. With such broad responsibilities, came an unparalleled opportunity to learn. Dedicated to addressing the global need for clean, accessible water, we founded EcoH2O Innovations to explore the viability of a wave powered desalination system to provide a socially and environmentally sustainable water source for coastal regions around the world. I am one of the founding members of EcoH2O Innovations and Director of Research and Development. My role spans engineering and design in order to optimize unit performance and maximize customer value. This includes design, fabrication, implementation, and testing of system improvements. I also keep track of technological advancements throughout the industry and explore ways to incorporate these advancements into the development of the SAROS technology. My involvement extends beyond engineering to include financial modeling, customer and business development, and various administrative tasks. I bridge the gap between the technology and end-user value by identifying, analyzing and communicating how technical aspects, cost factors, and system performance specifications contribute to the value proposition, pricing, and economics of the finished product.

American Autopark produces and installs mechanical parking systems. My work involved cost reduction exercises, design improvements, troubleshooting, and streamlining installation procedures and workflow. Worked heavily with setup and troubleshooting of relay logic based electro-hydraulic control systems. Helped create various installation procedures as well as post installation inspection and quality control procedures. Heavily involved with onsite work during the installation and commissioning of 61 hydraulic lifts at Porsche USA’s flagship store in Manhattan, the company’s inaugural project.

Responsible for optimizing the preventative maintenance schedules for components within the emergency core cooling system during unit outages. I designed a preventative maintenance schedule that allowed component checkups to be coordinated with other equipment outages, saving the company money and critical downtime.
