In my position at Extra Express I am responsible for taking customer orders over the phone and entering them in to our online system. After entering orders I must locate drivers to pick up and drop of packages within a designated time frame. I am also in charge of in home delivery services such as; mattress/foundations, indoor and outdoor furniture and large appliance deliveries. I also keep very accurate inventory of warehouse items. I communicate with our customers on a daily basis and make sure they are always completely satisfied with our services.

Extra Express was acquired by St. George LogisticsMaintain database of all clients utilizing warehouse and keep accurate inventory on all items. Keep Inbound and Outbound logs for each day and generate orders when necessary.Report any damaged materials that are received.Schedule all home deliveries in a timely manner. Communication with all independent contractors. Help with general warehousing duties when necessary. Make repairs to rental units that have been damaged or worn down. Generate shipping labels and prepare orders to be sent via FedEx or other distribution company. Make sure all jobs are dispatched to a driver within the first few minutes of it hitting the dispatch board. Dispatch jobs based on driver location and availability. Make sure all jobs are running on time and are completed without error.

Managing donor accounts, managing online customer accounts, generating statistics reports as necessary, monitoring volunteer hours, assisting customers in job search and internet searches, coordinating customer/agency relations, assistance with the opening of new locations, coordinating new/current student accounts.

Filing, data input, managing incoming phone calls, basic office tasks.
