As a Laboratory Analyst at Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust, I contribute to the diagnosis and treatment of patients by performing various biochemical tests and analyses, using high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) and liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (LC-MS) techniques. I adhere to the highest standards of quality, safety, and confidentiality, following the COSHH regulations and the NHS policies and procedures.I graduated with a First Class BSc in Biochemistry from the University of Kent in 2020, where I developed a passion for research and advancing the biological sciences. I completed a research dissertation on the biochemical interactions of talin rod domains, achieving 83% by applying PCR, CD, NMR, and binding assays. I also gained valuable experience as a Medical Laboratory Assistant and a Pharmacy Assistant, where I learned about microbiology, pharmacology, and customer service. I am motivated to pursue a career in biochemistry and biotechnology, where I can apply my skills, knowledge, and interests to make a positive impact on health and society.
