I could not be a football coach until now.Growing up in the 1980’s and being brought up by a single parent in London, all I cared about was playing, watching and talking about football. As I reached my teens and as circumstances dedicated, I found myself at boarding school. By the age of 16 I experienced a great loss. With my heart still beating and time never stopping, life carried on. What felt like chance encounters throughout my whole life I have been able to experience many (and down right challenging) professional environments. I have also met a very wide spectrum of people. My main roles were to make connections and to problem solve, which seemed to come naturally to me.I have come to realise that the so-called ‘chance encounters’ were actually due to my ability to connect on a level with others' lives, push myself to try new things and to ask, well, what about this? It could also be down to the fact that many dyslexics are constantly trying to problem solve and knowing more about something has great benefits for future ‘possible’ situations. Also that we need constant stimuli. Life is all about experiences and all the brain wants to do is learn and keep functioning so you can't blame me for not sticking to one role… until now that is.I come full circle. I have realised that I can now forge my passion for football with that of supporting others who wish to experience the true benefits that football can bring in building personalities and better communities. This is done through football coaching, analysis and development. Football replicates life and here lies my goal.
