Former principal of the recreational water division at PACE Advanced Water Engineering. For over two decades, Sonny Sim developed many of the standards used for the company’s water feature designs. He led the creation of the tools that streamlined the design process at PACE resulting in hundreds of successful projects throughout the world. His experience started with lake designs and worked as a project manager in the environmental water division doing wastewater treatment plant design. After taking on the role as principal in the recreational water division, he expanded their project offerings to include the design of aquatic facilities working on large high-profile projects including the Disneyland Hotel central courtyard improvement project. He was responsible for the management of the division’s projects, staff training, and client management.
