Training program is a full, one year program, ending in a community impact or fundraising project, planned and executed by the new members. Lead committee of seasoned members, guiding new members along the way. By the end of the year, provisionals are welcomed as full, active members. Guide members ends with full development of future league members. Paint the Town Red is the largest fund raising gala of the Junior League of Las Vegas. It is a large scale event with dinner, a dance competition and silent auction activities. Most projects committees are funded as a result of this event. The gala is also used to increase the visibility of Junior League of Las Vegas in the community.Chair responsibilities include:- Coordinate and plan a large scale event with a team of 15 members- Work with honored members of the community to generate guest lists, solicit and generate auction items and donations.- Solicit sponsorships and donations for the event through contacts in the community- Maintain financial records of funds generated- Develop promotional plans and coordinate advertising/PR needs with Communications Committee

- Administered and maintained the Supreme Court’s local and wide area network. - Organized and managed the implementation of the wide area network connection between the Carson City and Las Vegas Supreme Court offices. - Planned and executed the upgrade and installation of the GroupWise electronic mail system. - Project manager for numerous ventures, including the installation of a stand-alone digital switched telephone system and the implementation of an Internet gateway through GroupWise.- GroupWise system administrator for the Supreme Court.- Participated in the team interviews and selection of an IS intern and a Network Specialist.
