My main job here:· Main responsibility is taking care of PCB Level Testing, RF Tuning, and Functional Testing of Phone and Smart Devices. Doing configuration for Testing Instruments both Hardware and Software.· Calibrate and Validate the test system by Measurement System Analysis.· Troubleshoot hardware, software, and configuration issues in test fixtures, prototypes, and production products using various electronic test equipment.· Design automated test systems including hardware control, calculations, results analysis, and reporting· Build the Automated Test Systems to include test fixtures to be used for prototyping, Engineering evaluation and ultimately Mass Production of products with minimal engineering guidance.· Analyze log files, event traces to find out root cause of the problem.· Support ongoing production test needs including creating/modifying test software, writing diagnostic routines, and designing and building custom test hardware.· Generate plans for preventative maintenance on new and existing test equipment· Troubleshoot circuits to component level and/or full assemblies.· Troubleshooting technical issues that come up during production testing of products to identify root cause and corrective improvements· Interfacing with project engineers, engineering management, and production management to develop test requirement specifications for new and existing products.· Reduce testing time, downtime of the testers, failure rate. PKC Electronics has provided the mobile phone testing solution for Nokia and then Microsoft for decades included hardware & software: PCB Testing, Display & Touch Screen Testing, RF & Audio Testing, User Interface Testing, Functional Testing, Final Product Testing.My main job here is a representative of PKC in Vietnam to support Nokia (Later Microsoft) not only technical but all business related activities in Vietnam.• Giving training for customer on new products.• Leading a team of 5 Engineers to ensure test devices’ functionality and performance, Investigating failure both hardware and software.
