With almost 15 years of leadership and management experience, I have had the privilege of sharpening this skill set in a myriad of fields. From retail management to senior level management, I know that leadership is what I was made for. Nothing drives me or provides satisfaction quite like it. I am able to take an under performing team, the one no one wants, and turn performance around quickly. My natural problem solving skills, soft skills, and ability to read people and improve morale all attribute to these successes. Many leaders or managers don’t want to do the “emotional work” and that can be one of the most important catalysts to a team's fulfillment and success. People are an asset, and if you have the right team in place, their intrinsic value cannot be overlooked.I also excel and enjoy program management. I am able to analyze workflows and improve processes, which oftentimes overlaps with people management/leadership. Being able to write a process from the beginning, and also make small changes to existing processes often propel a department and save time and money for the company. I never fail to look within my teams and departments for feedback and innovative ideas- as many brains solving a problem can be better than just one. You will find hidden talents and experience among your people if you take the time to listen and ask. I do not have all the answers, but I am resourceful enough to ask for help and seek answers from any source I can until I solve the problem.I am an astute learner, and thrive on building my personal knowledge and skills. I want to always “be learning” and try to level up throughout my entire life and career. I also strive to mentor my team and help them level up, constantly providing the company with a growing talent base. I am open to opportunities in which I can work hard, and continue to grow and learn with a company that values their people and acknowledge hard working individuals.
