- Processed all leaves of absences for disability claims and FMLA. Responsible for approving disability claims, determining benefit amount, applying supplemental pay, send needed communications to the Team Member and work location, and verify weekly payroll files. Reviewed requests for FMLA and decisioned FMLA leaves of absences based on eligibility and documentation received. Worked with Team Members, Managers and HR field team to coordinate their leave of absence.- Administer the daily tasks for the 401(k) Plan. Review enrollment and beneficiary forms and forward to the vendor for processing. Process hardship distributions and prepares for Committee review. Coordinates special events that include on-site vendor participation.- Assist Team Members with questions via walk-ins to the Benefits Department and phone calls. Provide information regarding group insurance, disabilities, 401(k), tuition reimbursement, COBRA, time off accruals and other leaves policies to our Team Members. Process benefit enrollment forms, as well as assist Team Members in completion of their enrollment forms - one on one counseling as needed. Input benefit elections into HRIS and verify accuracy of items keyed.- Responsible for the monthly direct benefits billing of City Walk Team Members and weekly billing of Part Time Team Members who are enrolled in group insurance benefits. Also, collect and update PeopleSoft with the payments received and send ACH files to Finance.
