Girl Talk Inc. is a nonprofit organization created to empower and motivate girls to be there BEST! Here, young girls talk freely about the issues that affect them on a daily basis. The young girls that attend Girl Talk know that they have someone they can trust and confide in, who will listen and be there for them when they feel unsure. They know that Girl Talk Inc. strives to help them navigate through any life issues that may come up in their journey to adulthood. We arm young girls with life skills that will help them to be successful in school, have positive social interactions with their peers, and boost their self-esteem to create a positive self-image. It is our mission to give girls a voice and provide the mentoring and resources needed for young girls to reach their true potential. Girl Talk educates, help builds self-esteem, and foster independence by having volunteer staff on hand that are experienced in life issues that young girls face. Our staffing model also includes advisors and facilitators that possess the expertise needed to mentor and guide our girls in the areas that impact them the most. Girl Talk Inc. will focus on areas such as Health & Wellness, Confidence Building, Coping Skills, College Preparedness, and Sex Education just to name a few.With these tools available to young girls, it is our goal to equip them with life skills that will enable them to make good decisions and become successful in achieving their personal and professional goals.

In-depth research and review of all payer specific rules, regulations and requirements including:Authorization rules•Utilization requirements•Trends by provider, payer and the overall patient population•Provide necessary adjustments •Update and maintain existing rules, regulations and edits•Participate in initiatives to improve the quality and content of rule data•Promoting positive relationships with all clients•Assist with the building and maintaining of a “world class” rules engine to drive all Availity products.Additional key responsibilities include: RESEARCH•Reviews all payer bulletins, websites, newsletters, conducts payer meetings to obtain all necessary payer requirements for all Availity products and services•Research and thoroughly document all payer prior requirements for maximum efficiency and effectiveness for all Availity processes•Perform comprehensive, on-going review of all provider 835 and 837 results to further assist with the development of the requirements for the comprehensive Availity rules engine•Triage all requests for urgency and priority•Possess the ability to conduct a root cause analysis of the data process to determine data anomalies and corresponding rules and requirements, which can be developed and deployed to all Availity customersPROBLEM SOLVING•Utilizes best practices and proven data techniques to proactivity develop editing rules and requirements•Recommends best practices to clients and other internal stakeholders to address problem areasTESTING•Ability to review and analyze business rules, edits and bridge routines to meet payer guidelines and insure Availity and/or customer SLA’s are achieved•Identify patterns of issues occurring within data•Conduct comprehensive unit testing and business testing to include the positive and negative test cases•Produce clear and concise results from testing conducted, Which can be provided to all sources within the organization and deployed for all relevant clients

Set up and completes authorization request for approval/denial of Medicaid services. Educates providers and staff of appropriate submission of prior authorization request and timeliness of process.

Exemplary reviews for customer service with a proven track record for bringing patients into the case management program led to promotion for team lead position (8/2013- 5/2014). Responsibilities include leading a team of program coordinators to ensure efficiency and effectiveness of the patient referral process. • Assist staff in assessing patient levels of risk for appropriate triage for health case management. • Engage in patient escalations to ensure appropriate solutions are implemented. • Develop and analyze reports for utilization, care coordination, and benefit eligibility.• Coach and develop new hires to successfully onboard into role.• Received multiple recognitions for outstanding customer service.
