Always motivates, resilient, proactive and positive I believe we all bring something to the team. Currently deep in my third yearly custodial case management I bring not only life skills and experience but an excellent ability to work energetically and cohesively within a flexible multi-disciplinary team environment. With much experience working with youth in crisis, high needs disabilities, dual diagnosis woman, violent offenders, offenders, AOD, complex needs, disabilities and those less fortunate or who have taken the wrong path in life. Working within any organization entails delivering a meaningful and valuable service to its clients and the community. Treating others in a humane manner and encouraging change allows a high degree of job satisfaction. With respect and a high standard of integrity and work ethics I am responsible, professional, capable and accountable. I deliver the service required in line with my employers mission statement and values. I am a peoples person, always empathetic and compassionate spending many years working with those less fortunate that have lived a life of violence, neglect, abuse, domestic violence, homelessness and great loss of family. Passionate for the team I work with always believing that giving support and encouragement to people who deserve assistance and understanding re mental health issues, disabilities or those with substance abuse and complex needs deserve services and support. My people and communications skills have been utilized in assisting a wide range of people and age groups including those less fortunate from a wide range of different backgrounds and cultures. Working with integrity when dealing with people I understand the necessity of confidentiality. I am practiced in motivational interaction strategies, cognitive behaviour therapies and conflict resolution. Focused, enthusiastic and always prepared to help others.
