Started as both the preschool one and preschool two teacher combined for the opening of a new center, teaching both curriculum levels. Moved into preschool two classroom with the 4–5-year-old kids' mid-year and organized preschool graduation. Curriculum included phonics program, Spanish program, ASL program, using large Leap Interactive Board, Math, Science, Art, Philanthropy, Yoga for kids, and more. I did many hands-on science activities like making play-doe from scratch with kids, putting an in vinegar or make it become rubbery, and changing the colors of flowers with food dye. Encouraging ASL communication during snack or lunch using the signs for yes please, no, all done, thank you, and more. Helped other classrooms incorporate the curriculum into the daily schedule in a way that allowed the children maximum play time. Made lots of my own games to enhance their learning activities like the fishing game. I cut out the shape of fish on card stalk paper and put the upper- and lower-case letters on one side and painted the other. I then hole punched the head adding a plastic covered paperclip to attach to a magnetic fishing pole. You then place all the fish face down on a table and they take turns fishing. If they know the letter they get to put it in their bucket, if they don't they throw it back in the ocean for another turn.

Started off as an assistant before obtaining teaching license and becoming the lead teacher. Develop and implement lesson plans. Working hand in hand with the college professors in Early Childhood to provide a model classroom for observation. A class where college students can observe teaching styles, proper use of language and reinforcement technique through one-way window glass and listening devices hanging from the callings. Working with difficult behaviors, classroom safety, developmentally age-appropriate curriculum choices. Participated in child assessments and parent conferences. Created interactive experiences through learning. One example was making life size game board with tape on the carpet, rolling a blow-up dice and having the children move through the life size game board as the players, teaching them how to count, take turns, number placement as they count each step as they move through the squares, patience, and cooperation.
