My name is Sonya Hunter and I am an occupational therapist with 27 years of hands on experience. I pride myself on being a professional with high standards and a diverse skill set. I am forever on a mission to make an impact on the lives of my patients & their families. I come with a strong work ethic, high energy & enthusiasm for maximizing the "fun" in recovery, no matter at what level of function. I believe an essential component to recovery is to validate the patient’s strengths as well as educate the team, which includes patients and their families/caregivers. As a member of an amazing team, I will help finesse our patient to the top with the goal of optimal function and quality of life. I balance my own life in my pursuit of trail running and mountain biking which has given me insight into a strong mindset, progressive physical conditioning and the physical endurance that is essential for optimal performance and longevity in function.
