I led the mathematics department to improve the learning of all students and to assist the school in raising their overall scores by 35%. Supervising and evaluating 90+ employees, I created, allocated and managed budgets in excess of $2 million dollars. I created, revised, and implemented the campus plan. I worked with district staff to create and revise the curriculum. I provided professional development guidance to the campus staff as well as to employees district wide. I successfully researched, implemented and initiated programs geared at raising student achievement and increasing specific and overall employee performance; increasing staff knowledge; and keeping employees abreast of current trends and research. I provided counseling as necessary and successfully reunited disjointed staff. I served as a liaison between the central office and the community. I worked diligently with community agencies and other organizations to meet the needs of children, families, and staff members.
