FounderSonya Louise Jan 2022 - PresentHelping high-performing women with chronic conditions pursue dream-sized goals AND prioritize healing, strategic self-care, and symptom management.High-potential women are under enormous pressure. We see the needs around us. We know we have a contribution to make. That doesn’t go away when we take a physical hit.⭕️ Professional Pressures: According to a survey by McKinsey & Company, women in leadership roles frequently encounter expectations of perfection and a constant need to prove themselves. This pressure can be exacerbated when dealing with health challenges, as we may feel compelled to work even harder to compensate for any perceived shortcomings.⭕️ Financial Pressures: Data from the International Labour Organization (ILO) shows that women's labor and economic contributions have been steadily increasing. Even when facing health challenges, many women need to work and want to contribute economically, often going to great lengths to manage their conditions while excelling in their careers.⭕️ Caretaking Pressures: Women often shoulder a disproportionate amount of unpaid care work, such as caregiving for family members. The World Health Organization (WHO) reports that women provide 75% of the global unpaid care work. This responsibility persists even when they are dealing with their health issues. ⭕️ Self-Imposed Pressures: High-potential women are driven by a strong sense of purpose and a desire to make a difference. Even when faced with physical health challenges, their determination to contribute to their communities and professions remains intact. We're savvy enough to know that we need to stop pushing ourselves, but many of us can't see how that's possible. As a Holistic Life Coach, I offer a framework that's as unique as you are, helping women with chronic illness rewrite the rules of success through:❇️ Transformative workshops❇️ Personalized 1:1 coaching❇️ Strategic small group coaching

Digital Nomad | Podcast ManagerSonya Louise Nov 2017 - Dec 2019I spent 2 years on the road full-time in a transformational healing journey, spending most of my time in wild places; camping, hiking, and eating out of a picnic basket. I crisscrossed the United States a total of five times from coast to coast, driving over 75,000 miles alone with my 10 lb pup named Justice. My quest also took me into the Mayan ruins of Tulum and the ancient rice terraces of the Philippine Cordilleras. I learned to communicate with the natural world and deepened my dialogue with human beings too. While I was on the road, I was recruited to help a fellow author launch her podcast project. Word of mouth spread, and I ended up landing contracts to help several other authors launch and manage their own podcasts. I only worked with authors I believed in, helping them bring their message to the audiences who needed them. I worked on podcasts related to spiritual enlightenment, the healing pilgrimmage, life after grief, yoga practice, and ayurvedic medicine. My most successful project was the Fibromyalgia Podcast, still a top-ranked podcast in its category.

Digital Nomad | Bestselling Author | Women'S Solo Travel CoachSonya Louise Aug 2016 - Oct 2018Facing a life and health crisis in my 40s, I pitched a tent in the forest to “clear my head.” Nature spoke to me. That first-time foray into the wilderness alone ended up stretching into a two-year healing journey through unknown terrain of all kinds; camping, hiking, and eating out of a picnic basket. The natural world became my university and sanctuary, and I discovered firsthand why nature’s wisdom and healing powers have been revered for centuries.During this time I wrote and published my first book called "GO: Sacred Solo Travel for Women", which became an international bestseller on Amazon. This book was written for every woman who secretly confided in me that she has always dreamed of "doing something like me" but felt that she couldn't. My response: if a sacred solo adventure is in your heart, not only can you do it, you should do it. And you can do it in a way that is smart and safe.I shared my new skills as a personal coach for many other solo female adventurers. My message: There is a reason you are hearing the call of the wild. Something is waiting for you out there, some perspective or gift that just might change your life - and change the world. You deserve to find out what it is.

Director Of Hospitality & SalesPatit Creek Cellars Jul 2012 - Aug 2018Spokane, Washington, United StatesIt was a tale befitting a Hallmark special. I was recruited to work for a family-owned winery in Washington Wine Country. The winery itself was in the heart of the rolling Walla Walla vineyards, and they had a second wine tasting room nestled in the Sammamish River Valley just 30 minutes northeast of Seattle. The owner was ready to expand, and my project was to select, build out, and manage their third location. After extensive research and market analysis, we decided to join the up-and-coming wine scene in downtown Spokane.I arrived in Washington in August 2012, knowing no one and having zero experience in the wine industry. I split my time on the production line as the harvest of grapes arrived at the winery, while I also designed, built out, and launched the tasting room in Spokane. By the end of 2013, the Spokane tasting room was outperforming the other two locations combined. My tasting room included a small commercial kitchen and gourmet cheese counter, the first of its kind in Spokane. We offered expertly paired wine and bites, and on any given day, we had over sixty cheeses from around the world to sample and savor. Our business model became a hot, new trend with three other wineries launching food service with commercial kitchen facilities over the next two years.I was appointed Director of Hospitality and Sales for the company in 2015 with responsibilities spanning all three tasting room locations. I was poised to become the majority partner (we were in succession) when an all-consuming life and health crisis forced me to leave the company in 2016.

Administrative Director (2002-2010) > Executive Director (2010-2012)I Am Ministries, Inc. Dba The Source Feb 2002 - Jul 2012Vero Beach, Florida, United StatesFeeling a spiritual calling to serve the desperately needy, I began volunteering at The Source, a ministry serving the homeless in Vero Beach, FL. Within a few weeks, I was hired to fill the first paid staffing position as an executive assistant and later became administrative and marketing director. I was responsible for creating and implementing many of the organization's first administrative and marketing systems, helping grow the organization from a fledgling ministry serving a few dozen people to a community partner with a comprehensive array of services impacting the lives of 100+ people daily. At the same time, the organization was in dire straights financially. In 2009, I was invited for consideration to fill the executive director role, serving as interim leader during the nationwide executive search before being appointed to the permanent position in February 2010. The process was a hostile one, as there were many on the board of directors who did not believe a woman should be running a ministry and the organization was on the brink of insolvency. In the role of Executive Director, I pioneered the ministry's first 5-year strategic plan, achieving consistent milestones, enhancing and streamlining service delivery, and strengthening public esteem, resulting in an annual cash surplus position for the organization. What I am most proud of was initiating and leading the collaborative effort to rally enough community support to overcome a NIMBY blockade and establish Indian River County's first transitional shelter for unhoused adults. This strategic partnership brought together county officials, law enforcement, nonprofit executives, business owners, and religious leaders across the socio-political spectrum to address the needs of our community's most vulnerable population.
