I’m a performer, dramaturg, director, producer and arts activist with a practice spanning 30 years. An alumni of both the University of Melbourne (BA Hons, English & Cultural Studies) and the WA Academy of Performing Arts (BA – Music Theatre), my work encompasses a wide range of projects and disciplines, from screen to stage, radical new plays to reimagining ‘classics’ and creating immersive experiences for children and their adults. Much of my career has involved nurturing the next generation of artists, instilling the value courage, curiosity, equity and accountability.My recent directorial credits include Stef Smith’s A Dolls House, Stephen Sondheim’s Sweeney Todd and Into the Woods, and The Lucky Country, a new Australian musical in collaboration with Vidya Makan and Hayes Theatre Co.
