I am a consultant, business coach and mentor. My work consists of a mix of coaching, consulting work for GCs and individuals and pro bono work.As a consultant, I use my litigation and management background to deliver strategic advice to GCs and individual clients involved in complex matters.I am a graduate of Meyler Campbell’s Mastered Programme in Business Coaching. My coaching work is aimed at assisting those who are considering or taking on a new role, or at important stages in their careers. I have a keen interest in the development of the market for legal services, especially the use of new technologies and processes. I have chaired a number of roundtables for general counsel to identify their vision of the law firm of the future. I am involved with the Prince’s Trust as an Ambassador of the Women Supporting Women community. The Trust helps young people from disadvantaged backgrounds to get into jobs, education and training. I am also a mentor on the Trust’s Enterprise Programme. I am a Trustee of RESTART, a homelessness charity. From 2014 to 2017, I was joint CEO of Herbert Smith Freehills and before that head of its global dispute resolution practice. I played a significant role in HSF’s development, including the opening of the firm’s near-shoring operation in Belfast, and its internationalisation particularly in its Asia region and the US.
