Assist in developing a reference library of written quality assessment and assurance material, laws, etc., necessary for complying with current standards and regulations, and that will provide assistance in maintaining quality patient care. Participate in the investigation of incidents, grievances, injuries, sentinel events, abuse, and misappropriation of resident property. Ensure documentation is complete and accurate. Summarize findings and file reports to appropriate upper management and agencies.Attend workshops, and seminars, to keep on top of current changes in the healthcare field, with special emphasis on new Conditions of Participation, Value-Based Purchasing.Gather and review all documentation for TPL, ADR, and RAC Audits.Carefully review critical documentation, which includes OASIS, F to F, Advanced Beneficiary Notice, Medicare Secondary Payer, and Service Agreements.Review all 60-day recertification assessments/OASIS Review admissions & discharges.Develop a streamlined process while implementing our new Electronic Medical Record System and software, Kantime. Enter all clinical tickets, and review them with a dedicated customer service software specialist, weekly.Teach and educate all 40 field nurses on new EMRS and software. Provide continual IT support and updates as needed.
