With a combined eighteen+ strong years of building a career in the IT, Administrative Management, education & beauty industry, Sonya Toomer’s desire for “total health & wellness” utilizing the cutting edge of technology for her clients has prompted her to transition into Personal Training.Sonya’s first era of work experience began in the field of Information Technology. She earned a B.S. in Computer Information Systems & went on to work in consumer & corporate computer software at IBM for 10 yrs, with six yrs spent in leadership. Because of her drive to exceed standards & improve business objectives, she was promoted to Manager for Software Engineers & Software Development. In 2011, Sonya earned a Certificate of Certification of Trichology (Science & Biology of Hair) & Valedictorian of her class. She interned with the institution; Upon graduation; Assistant Director of Education. Sonya has worked with various clients (IBM, NTTI, NWLB, Fredfusion.com, HaircareProviders, Bronner Brothers, Elite Travel, Third Planet Solutions, Xpotential, Carla Fleming Fitness, JRCWRI to name a few) & although her skill set is vast, her greatest expertise revolve in the worlds of administrative management, social media and integrative health & wellness plans. Sonya’s wish is to combine her knowledge & experience in these areas, to deliver the best creative and effective business solutions & improve health-related concerns or physical goals fitness strategies to her clients & their audiences.Sonya also has a dual role as a fulltime Homeschool teacher. Being able to multi-task became one of her strengths & benefits were obtained across all skill areas.Her drive & passion to serve others continue to push her to higher levels. Sonya’s commitment to excellence will continue to propel her to new dimensions.
