Engagement Lead
CurrentI oversaw the Jersey Stroke Conference and successfully planned the event that drew 150 participants, including key stakeholders such as legislators, medical experts, and stroke survivors, with an emphasis on improving the patient experience. I handled budget management, speaker selection, and promotion. I also led conversations about international research and methods for quality improvement. By creating External Involvement Groups and SW & CI Locality Stroke Voices, as well as by encouraging cross-organisational information sharing using M-Files, I promoted collaboration both internally and externally. I also led the Stroke Group Network, which promoted community involvement and research participation. I oversaw Engagement Officers, ensuring they were in line with strategic goals, and offered coaching to help them develop their skills. I established our team as industry leaders by working with local stakeholders, developing programmes to reduce health inequalities and increase access to support services. While managing several initiatives, I found and fixed operational inefficiencies and put organisation-wide engagement plans and cutting-edge technologies like the M-Files system into practice. My leadership drove a dynamic work environment by facilitating cultural shifts towards proactive collaboration.
