She's the First (STF) fights against gender inequality by supporting girls' education in low-income countries. The organization has campus chapters across the country to raise funds and awareness to accomplish its mission. I run as the president of the STF chapter at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Kiva is an international non-profit organization that lends money to low-income entrepreneurs, and has the mission of connecting "people through lending to alleviate poverty." I found and ran as a president for the chapter for my high school and raised funds to donate through Kiva. My team and I organized Walkathon annually, where affiliated communities participate in walking a predetermined distance. I recruited members for the board, delegated tasks, led weekly discussions, and made decisions about whom to lend our funds to.
