• Policy research and analysis – Analyzed the climate commitments of 46 Asia-Pacific countries (Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) in the lead up to the development of FAO regional climate change strategy. • Capacity building - Organized three regional capacity building events on enhancing climate transparency for NDC implementation that facilitated the adoption of the ASEAN Common Position on agriculture at COP22. • Project formulation and technical advisory - Provided technical advice with various climate change mitigation and adaptation projects in Philippines, Thailand, and Maldives; Designed projects and prepared funding proposals for Maldives and Papua New Guinea.

Bangkok Metropolitan Area, Thailand

• Partnerships – Enabled strategic partnerships resulting in successful public outreach events and training courses; Assisted in organizing a marathon “Run to Save Food” received over 4,000 registrants to raise awareness of food wastes in Thailand. • Rural entrepreneurship grant making - Devised selection criteria and scaling-up strategy for small grants program, prompting an increase of the regional project pipeline by five folds, and budget allocation by two-folds within a year.

Hanoi, Vietnam

• Policy and governance – Managed nation-wide research that gave rise to the endorsement of provincial guideline on community-based forest harvesting; Coordinated the first pilot of Participatory Governance Assessment process for REDD+ in Vietnam. • Project formulation and management – Conducted full-cycle project management for four natural resources and environment projects; and led a successful funding application and dialogues with the government on work plans and implementation arrangements for Nationally Appropriate Mitigation Actions from Integrated Food and Energy System in Vietnam (with an emphasis on biogas). • Organization - Assisted in the planning and organization of global and regional meetings such as Alliance for Climate Smart Agriculture.

• Carbon credits - Developed and registered a Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) project on demand side energy efficiency in India by conducting quantitative analysis on energy benchmarking and modelling of GHG emissions reductions. • Partnerships - Assisted in building strategic partnerships with a range of public and private sector stakeholders based on market-based mechanisms that helped low-income households cut their energy bills, the City of Seoul reduce greenhouse gas emissions and energy poverty, and catalyzed innovation in energy efficiency for consumer electronics (currently on VCS registry). • Greenhouse Gas Accounting - Collaborated on a prize-winning report for Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP).

Analyzed renewable energy and market potentials for biogas and biomass in Asian countries; and conducted due diligence studies for CDM projects for biogas and biomass in Indonesia and Thailand
