• Responsible for work-slate planning and tracking of deliverables for the R&D business unit in the region. • Facilitate and coordinate the annual R&D planning exercise where the consolidated demands are prioritized by Portfolio, forming the work slate for next year. • Assist the regional head with the annual budgeting exercise (USD$40m) and tracking of actual deliverables. • Regular interactions with country functional leads in the region and global counterparts• Line manager responsibility for leading a group of 4 territory planners located in India, China, Japan , and Singapore. Achievements: Establish the Functional Planning group in APAC, starting from a blank slate to bring countries at differing maturity levels to conform to global guidelines. This required managing stakeholders' expectations and rolling out the roadmap in phases.  Part of the project team in developing bespoke work scheduling and execution online tool and mobile App for users in APAC. Approximately 400 users generating 12 thousand trials over 14 countries with information consolidated in a central database.  Deployed dashboards for tracking and insight analysis for management reporting. This is enabled through Tableau which is linked to the database of the bespoke tool developed.  Regional representative in various workshops/sessions to develop the global R&D planning tool. Subsequent roll-out of the tool by the Functional Planning team providing training and support for 300 users during the annual planning cycle.  Coordinate balancing the project demand against capacity and budget targets during the planning cycle. This requires interactions that are cross-functions and geographies.
