Conducting biological research alongside Dr. Harish Ratnayaka to assess photosynthetic capabilities of Spartina cordgrass within the Gulf of Mexico. Additionally, as the student coordinator for the Gulf Scholar Research Program, I also manage the other scholars in terms of of organization and logistics. My role also allows me to contribute toward advocating for various social justice initiatives which target both environmental and community restoration.

As a research assistant for Takeda Pharmaceuticals-Xavier's Public Health Department, I am responsible for data collection and analysis concerning communal inclination for clinical trials. Utilizing Spanish-speaking abilities to interact with a broad range of community members as well as collaborating with community health professionals.

On a weekly basis, my time shadowing with Dr. Blythe has given me more insight within the field of Infectious Disease as well as what the day to day looks like for a physician.

Through Tulane Urology's PIPE Program, I had the opportunity to shadow Dr. Raju Thomas, Dr. Lawrence Jenkins, as well as Dr. Alexis Chesrow. These experiences gave me an in-depth look into the field of Urology as a medical profession as well as diversify my own interests. I was also able to learn more about advancements within urological surgery and how to maintain cultural competency when interacting with patents.
