PCIe SSD Project:This is PCIe Based SSD for storage servers which are a direct attached storage project for Intel Corp America. The module is a solid state storage device using NAND chips as the physical storage medium which runs on firmware that consist of different layers HAL, Core and CTL in its architecture. It is a sustenance project for the delivered SSD product, where we are mainly working for adding enhanced features and bug fixes for various customers.Roles and Responsibilities:• Firmware development for PCIe based Solid State Drives for Storage server using NVMe protocol.• Working individually on bug fixing in different layers of firmware architecture like core, transport, CTL (NVMe Specific ).• Fixed several critical issues in Core layer (Flash Transition Layer) which includes Defrag, Defect management etc.• Worked on admin commands like Firmware Download & Activate, Asynchronous Event Request command, Set Feature and Get Log page according to OEM requirements..• Implemented the new Design for telemetry log pages which helps to store the important information that helps to easily find the actual root cause of the drive failures.• Have basic understanding of Real time operating system, Task scheduling and ARM architecture

Green power supply unit :Green Power Supply system that can source the power from solar panels and in turn provides uninterrupted power to the telecom equipment. It contains hybrid charge controller card (HPML) and communication child card (CCH). HPML takes both the solar panel and AC mains power as inputs and cater to the DC load (12v) and simultaneously charge the battery.CCH card for display and communicate data.Roles and Responsibilities :● Implemented UART, LCD interfaces to the Communication child card.● Hands-on experience in compilers like GCC, Keil uVision, Mikro C.● Controller used: DSPIC33EP32MC204, PIC32MX675F512H● Working with design team to develop a detailed test procedure for testing. ● Experience in performing Visual inspection, Initial electrical inspection, power supply test, clock test, programming, UART interface test, SPI interface test etc. for HPML(Hybrid power supply module) and CCH(Communication child card) cards.● Executing test programs using automatic test equipment (ATE) and compare patterns from a good circuit with patterns from a device under test.● Debugging failure cards with the help of circuit description and device data sheet and resolving issues.● Strong background in using lab equipment (i.e. logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, Multimeter etc).
