Role of FMN2 in axonal branching, under the supervision of Dr. Aurnab Ghose at IISER Pune (2016-2019) Chick Spinal Neuron Culturing, Immunostaining, Confocal and Widefield microscopy Imaging, DNA Cloning, SIM (Structured Illumination Microscopy) Imaging and Sub Cellular Analysis of Protein Dynamic. FMN2 is one of many proteins that regulate actin and microtubule dynamics. I investigated the role of FMN2 in axonal branching. Using different microscopy techniques, we analysed changes in axonal branching morphology and dynamics of actin structures (actin patch) that facilitated in axonal branching with respect to FMN2 activity in neurons. We discovered that FMN2 regulates axonal branching density through maintaining actin patch dynamics.

Using super resolution microscopy techniques, we investigated the variation in PSD95 localization in synapse with respect to the Scribble activity in neurons.
