Current➝ Job FocusSpearhead implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of ISO 9001:2015 (QMS), ISO 14001:2015 (EMS), and OHSAS 18001:2007 (OHSM).➝ Job DutiesDevelop procedures, SOPs, KPIs, objectives, and manuals for the QHSE management systems while managing the Microsoft Dynamics AX ERP system and maintain the company’s NDT written practice for NDT personnel qualification and recertification. Oversee Quality Inspectors, Safety Officers, Environment Officers, and NDT Coordinators to deploy quality, health, safety and environmental project plans. Ensure compliance with ASME sec IX, AWS D1.1 code, ABS, and DNV standards for creating welding procedures and conducting PQRs and welder qualification. Cultivate safe working environment and control HAZMAT activities by leading the safety and environmental teams in the implementation of safety procedures. Formulate audit plans and select auditors to initiate internal/vendor audits performance monitoring and annual evaluation, as well as attend periodic and ad-hoc meeting to support informed decision-making. Coordinate quality assurance processes in independent production units: CRD, Small Boat Division, MIPR, and teams, meeting departments’ quality objectives. ➝ Key Successes Improved quality consciousness QUALITY FIRST motto to minimize rework by promoting ‘do it right the first-time concept’; performed final quality inspection to ensure quality and achievement of client requirements. Engaged in quality control/assurance of all ship repairing projects and examinations in line with ASME B31.3, ABS, DNV, Lloyd's ship building rules, and client specification (US-Navy).
