Within my role as a Private Tutor my duties included determining students' academic levels and needs and setting goals with students, preparing study materials, communicating effectively to teach new concepts and reinforce known ones, provide feedback to students on their progress and communicate it to their parents/carers. This role gave me great joy as I was able to witness the satisfaction of my students when they mastered a concept or even when they learnt about an interesting topic. Through this role I have also reinforced my communication and problem solving skills.
