Group Financial ControllerDara Hotels Jan 2022 - Oct 2022Phnom Penh, Cambodia•Job responsibilities:-T o check and approve monthly journal entries from various sections- Prepare monthly FS such as balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements and statistical analysis report- To check the daily General Cashier report to ensure that the cash receipts are deposited in the next succeeding working day-To be responsible for all Inter-comp accounts and maintain, recording and to ensure that all sub-ledgers agree with the GL- To prepare, analyses… Show more •Job responsibilities:-T o check and approve monthly journal entries from various sections- Prepare monthly FS such as balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements and statistical analysis report- To check the daily General Cashier report to ensure that the cash receipts are deposited in the next succeeding working day-To be responsible for all Inter-comp accounts and maintain, recording and to ensure that all sub-ledgers agree with the GL- To prepare, analyses and investigate for all GL transactions of the hotel, aided by the ongoing efforts to streamline internal control procedures.- To review bank reconciliation for all bank accounts- To verify the prepaid expenses and deferred charges are up-to-date and in agreement with the accounts- To review report from Cost Control and to liaise with the Purchasing Manager to ensure the correct procedure and control such as material consumption, costs, inventories and prices- To review A/R section regarding the A/R ledger, aging and activities report.- To review Income Audit section to ensure that the hotel revenue properly posting & control and all income tax are corrected with the nature of revenue as well- To review A/P section to ensure that all payments and aging are enough supporting documents to be corrected with agreement and properly filed for future reference- To review Fixed Asset report and listing to make sure that it is corrected with nature purposed and scheduled the Fixed Asset, OE, Linen and Uniform for depreciation and amortization- To keep and safeguard all contract, Leases, Insurance Policies, and all legal financial documents - Prepare cash flow projection and operation budget and ensure the budget is strictly control to all cost from various departments- Creating finance policies and procedure for Dara Hotels Group in order to comply with best practices and IFRS - And other additional duties assigned by Managing Director Show less -
