Junior High Teacher- Assessed and met the educational and developmental needs of 10 junior high students through: class discussions and group activities, academic classes, one-on-one relationship building, recruitment of community volunteer educators, and facilitation of interpersonal conflicts.- Led young people in fund-raising activities culminating in an educational and service-oriented end-of-year trip- Developed and maintained relationships with families to provide a network of support for young people- Provided additional classes, activities, and mentorship to children of all ages throughout the school- Collaborated with teacher team to: problem solve around particular issues, develop all-school programming, ensure general maintenance of the school building, and organize fundraisersResidential Intern- Developed strong relationships with all young people (in pre-school through 8th grades) - Planned and delivered lessons and activities on various topics including, French, girls-based programming, and arts and crafts - Participated in and assisted general functions of the school including council meetings, staff meetings, cleaning, and activity planning with other staff
