I’m a passionate and curious Marine Biologist with a strong interest in conservation and ecology through the lens of organisms and their interconnection with the cultures around them. Having graduated from the University of Washington, I have gained diverse introductory experience not only in my field, but in intersecting areas such as journalism, research, laboratory operations, and field work. I am an efficient and strong-willed person; pushing through challenges to accomplish goals for personal and team success. I want to make a difference in the world by starting with my community and build a system of conservation that supports all within it through exploring the natural environments arounds us and the impacts we have on them and our co-inhabitants. Ambition and organization within a company is important to me, as well as honesty and encouragement from my peers and coworkers. I believe these values, when put together, are able to create an environment of growth on the personal level as well as on the company level. I am eager to seek out opportunities for internships or networking contacts in biology or environmentally based institutions, ideally with marine focus.
